We aim to develop in our children:
• A positive attitude to learning through a broad and balanced curriculum
• A love of learning
• Self discipline and a sense of responsibility
• Confidence, independence and individuality
• Tolerance, sensitivity and co-operation
• Respect for oneself, for others, and the environment
• Christian spiritual and moral values together with emotional and social strength
• An understanding of the decision making processes involved within a co-operative
community through contribution to our School Council
• A sense of self esteem and worth which allows them to assert their needs, while
understanding the needs of others
• Self confidence, together with an understanding of what contributes to or compromises
a healthy body, empowering them to make informed healthy lifestyle choices, even if
this requires resisting peer pressure
