Welcome to Music at John Donne. We believe that Music is a universal language, one that embodies the highest forms of creativity. Our music education reflects this and engages and inspires pupils to develop a love of music and their talent as musicians. As musicians we strive to increase self-confidence, creativity and demonstrate a sense of achievement. As our pupils progress, they develop a relationship with music, allowing them to compose, perform and listen to with discrimination with confidence, style and enjoyment. Our well-balanced curriculum promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils and prepares them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.
At John Donne we intend to deliver a curriculum which is accessible to all and that will ensure that every child can reach their full potential.
