School Closure

Following the advice from the Government on Wednesday, our School will be closed from Friday 20th March 2020 until further notice.  During the closure we will follow and take advice from the Government and our Local Authority.  We will keep you informed as soon as we have any updates.  We are waiting to hear which children will be eligible to remain in school.

We are delighted that you have chosen to find out more about our school. Our aim is to work in partnership with you to provide an excellent and enjoyable education which enables all our children to achieve their very best.

John Donne Church of England School is a friendly, caring school situated in the village of Blunham, with a history going back over 200 years. It provides an exciting broad and balanced education for local children and those from the surrounding villages and towns, aged 3 – 11 years. We offer a safe and happy learning environment in which we all work together with mutual respect and a love of learning.

School Closure

Following the advice from the Government on Wednesday, our School will be closed from today until further notice.  During the closure we will follow and take advice from the Government and our Local Authority.  Please be assured we will keep you informed as soon as we have any updates to share with you.  The Government has stressed that the safest place for your child is to be at home.  For those who are confirmed critical workers only you can choose to bring your child to Care Club (Main School will be closed).  Please see separate letter sent via email for further details.
